Hello! My name is Daisy Schwind. I am a third year student at BGSU
graduating with my Bachelors in Fine Arts, spring of May 2025. Below are
various works from my design courses as well as personal works. My focus
is multimedia art while intertwining my designs skills with fine art techniques.

This work is an informational poster educating its audience on the tools and steps required to successfully screen print onto a T-shirt. The poster is educational and appealing to the eye by including interesting graphics, movement, and whimsical typography. It has a punk rock style to pay homage to screen-printed band tees.
Green Brand is a satirical brand shedding light on how companies greenwash products to improve sales and promote healthier living when their products remain relatively the same in terms of ingredients and/or ethics. The pieces include two promotional posters, three mock products, two multimedia pieces using real food, and a character design.
The Panther Match Book combines my graphic design skills as well as my book-making skills. For this project, I designed and created the book from paper and book board. Then created the design of the covers digitally and Xerox transferred them onto heavyweight paper to give it a rustic feel. The pages inside are matches!
Featured in Concord: Northwest Ohio Community Exhibition 2023. In response to Roe v. Wade being overturned, I created a psuedo tide product that would assist with the clean up process after a back-alley abortion. Around the box there are gruesome images of babies, blood, hangers, and women to emphasize the importance of reproductive rights and allowing women having access to reproductive services.
This is a repurposed collage using a vintage sewing book. When looking at this page in the book it appeared to me that the bears looked somber, and their honey pots looked like pill bottles. As a result I created a collage promoting the medication Prozac to add a dark twist to the orginal joyful image.

This design is in response to my first semester as a full time Graphic Design student. I created a mock album with songs relating the lessons I learned throughout my courses. As I reflected back on the semester it was prevelant that the belly of the beast is Graphic Design and I had been overcome by it.
I am interested in repurposing vintage postcards. This is an example of how I redesigned the image of the Hawaiian islands while including multimedia elements such as lace, newspaper, packaging, as well as digital elements to create playful yet informational flyer.
This collage exhibits elements such as illustrations I have created, photographs, as
well as found images from the web to create a collage commenting on the connections between megacorportations and Big Oil.
The three bananas include messages of how the change of time is the only constant we have in life. The larger message is to embrace growing old and the experiences you have had rather than wishing for the past or future. We need to live in the moment because we will never get it back once it is gone.
Featured in Fresh Looks 2024 Art Exhibition, the Sardine Tin Book is a playful combination of my book-making skills and my design skills. In reaction to creating such a small book, I created a vintage sardine brand to play with the form of the book and book box. The book is intended to be the about sardines nested in the
tin which is the book box.

After visiting New England I was inspired by the coastal style of the restaurants and companies. I created a brand entity called The Clam Shack and created a menu, event list, promotional ephemera, specials menu, as well as the characters in the design.
The Zona stationery set is a product of a partial rebrand of AriZona tea. Zona is intended to target a younger generation to promote the longevity of the brand. With that I updated the brand logo, slogan, and overal graphics to pair well with the Zona brand entity.
An issue in Graphic Design is gendered products, I decided to analyze both men's and women's products and the differences in design techniques and styles. For the project, I decided to make two garments based on the marketed gendered products. The models were photographed using the same products but for the opposing gender to emphasize how these products are unnecessarily gendered.
